GCSE Science

Skills School can provide GCSE Science support for Years 10 and 11. We are happy to provide support specifically related to ongoing schoolwork, but can also help your child in preparing for mock exams, examined coursework elements and their final exams. Our Science tutors are experienced in delivering and assessing GCSE Science and have excellent knowledge in the core areas of biology, chemistry and physics.

Our tutors can provide support in each core module, including Human Biology; Products from Rocks; Energy and Electricity; Evolution and Environment; Oils, Earth and Atmosphere and Radiation and the Universe. As your child prepares for their GCSE we can offer additional mock exams and work on exam techniques to ensure the final exams are a less intimidating prospect.

We utilise a range of teaching techniques when providing Science tuition, including the use of traditional classroom methods, ICT, mock exams, interactive displays and personalised learning methods. We will provide homework where appropriate but do understand that the student's school homework and coursework comes first.
